6th Annual Night of Hope 6

Dark Horse Global

Human Trafficking is not restricted to certain countries, borders, religions, races, ethnicities, or economic class. It is global in scope and demands thoughtful and strategic solutions, which is why Dark Horse exists.

About Dark Horse Global

Human trafficking, perhaps the worst of all criminal offenses, has become a lightning rod topic, stirring various efforts of the well intentioned to address this horrific human rights violation. Many people have a visceral response to modern day slavery, and while a heart motivated to do good and serve others is both right and admirable, it isn’t enough when confronting the pandemic of exploitation befalling the vulnerable and poor, globally or around the world today.

A problem this vast and complex demands thoughtful and strategic solutions. While intervention isn’t the sole answer to combating and eradicating human trafficking, it is a critically important one. There are many other avenues to attacking this problem: education and awareness, robust legislative reform, demand-reduction, aftercare, and aggressive prosecution, to name a few. All of these efforts need to work in harmony to have the greatest impact when it comes to effectively altering the landscape of human trafficking. It’s one thing to identify the various ways to attack the problem, and another to know how to execute in a way that provides sustainable change.

Dark Horse Global exists for this very purpose. We harness and leverage desire for change with excellence and skill. Our heart and passion are the fuel. Our operational expertise, investigative methodology, strategic focus, technological superiority, ongoing evaluation and analysis, and a rigorous determination to always be better, are the components that comprise the engine that enables our exceptional performance and success.

Dark Horse Global is a team of individuals with decades of combined experience in the field of covert investigative operations. We pride ourselves on building unequivocal cases of human trafficking, and working side-by-side with government agencies and law enforcement to execute rescue operations that result in freedom for victims of human trafficking and arrest of the perpetrators. We’ve worked in the United States, Southeast Asia, the Indian Sub-Continent, the Middle East, and Latin America.

...He said he loved her. So, she ran away with him.

Once isolated from family and friends, the relationship became abusive. Amy was raped and became pregnant. When she turned 18, her boyfriend turned “business manager” gave her an ultimatum: sell her body or he would sell the baby.

"Javier"

moved in with his grandmother after his mother died. Struggling to adjust to a new high school, he spent most of his time in chat rooms. After several lonely months, he got a direct message from an online friend inviting him to a party. Javier went to the party, and without question, accepted the drink he was handed. Sometime later, he woke, disorientated and surrounded by unknown men. One of the men held Javier’s phone and a gun. He pulled up a picture of Javier’s grandmother, and waved the gun at the photo, saying if Javier didn’t do what he was told, they would kill her.
